Agnes Cornell

Agnes Cornell is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg. Cornell’s research lies at the intersection of public administration and comparative politics. She studies the relationship between state bureaucracy and democracy, political institutions, and citizens’ interactions with the state in historical as well as contemporary settings. Cornell’s research also examines foreign aid and processes of democratization.
