Fabio Angiolillo

Fabio is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Kellogg Institute at University of Notre Dame. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the V-Dem Institute (2022 - 2026).
He received his PhD from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), and held visiting positions at the Department of Government at Cornell and Freiburg University.
His research interests center on political institutions, democratic decline and resilience, authoritarian politics, regime stability and change, and historical political economy, with a regional focus on East Asia. He co-organizes the Authoritarian Political Systems Group (APSG).
