The V-Dem Institute is on a regular basis organizing seminars focusing on various topics within the field of democracy research. Leading international scholars visit University of Gothenburg to present their research. The seminars focus on topics such as democratization in different parts of the world, effects of democratization, electoral violence, persistence of inequality in new democracies etc. The seminars are open for the general public and the venue for seminars is the V-Dem Institute, Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg.
