December 16, 2013: The V-Dem Research Fellowship
The V-Dem Research Fellowship is open to postdocs as well as junior faculty with a record in comparative democratization and skills in research methods. The position is announced as part of the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and the Royal National Academy of Science’s designation and support of Professor Staffan I. Lindberg as Wallenberg Academy Fellow. The V-Dem Research Fellow is expected to conduct research in collaboration with Professor Lindberg, one of four Principal Investigators of V-Dem, focusing on issues related to the V-Dem Research Program (see link at online application page): questions of sequencing in democratization in particular, and it may also involve experimental components related to the use of expert coders.
